Meningitis

Meningitis is an inflammation of the meninges, the protective membranes covering the brain and spinal cord. It can be caused by infections (bacterial, viral, fungal), autoimmune diseases, or other factors. Meningitis can be a serious condition and requires prompt medical treatment.

Types of Meningitis

Symptoms

   • Computed Tomography (CT) Scan: To rule out other causes and assess for complications.
